A few of Pakistan's players have improved significantly in the rankings as a result of the team's undefeated start to the new ICC World Test Championship cycle. Following the team's victory in the second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo, Abdullah Shafique (up 27 spots to 21st), Mohammad Rizwan (up four spots to equal 29th), and Agha Salman (up 23 spots to 35th) shot up the list for Test batters.
